RIte Care Recertifications

August 18th, 2014

Any individual, parent or child that was on RIte Care in 2013, will need to re-certify before the end of 2014. Anyone needing to re-certify, will receive an orange colored notification in the mail. It’s important to re-certify in a timely fashion, so you and your family’s coverage doesn’t end or terminate.

There is a new process this time to renew your RIte Care coverage. Instead of completing a paper application, all re-certifications must be processed online. At BVCHC, we have four Certified Navigators that are available to assist you through this process. Appointments with our Certified Navigators are at no cost to you. To schedule an appointment today, please call 401-722-0081 Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm.

Please be prepared with the following items when meeting with our Certified Navigators:

  • License OR Picture ID
  • Social Security Cards for each member of the family AND Green Cards (if applicable)
  • Tax return from 2013 AND last four pay stubs
  • RIte Care insurance cards (if anyone in household currently covered)
  • Other insurance information (if offered coverage through employer, EVEN IF NOT ELECTED, must bring information on plans offered)
